This project is focused on voluntary work with children in kindergartens in Warsaw – heart of Europe.
The main aim is to create a multicultural environment in which children will have the opportunity to grow and develop themselves under the watchful eye of external participants from different countries. Through this action, we will have the opportunity to discover other cultures, languages, arts and crafts experience, which will be valuable to both sides. Project promotes cultural understanding among kids, therefore our volunteers will share their knowledge(national arts, games for children, dances and songs) with children in the place they will teach at.
International Kindergarten will help our children to understand cultural diversity and form a healthy image about the surrounding world
Participant will have to work with children (age 3-6) in kindergartens in Warsaw – from Monday to Friday around 40h/week.

Project Heart of Art, is dedicated for children with different kinds of disabilities. Within a project the intern will conduct art workshops for them, working for non-government organizations and in orphanages. The workshop can include:
- painting, drawing
- working with materials like sand, water, clay, plastic masses
- music activities (singing, playing instruments)
- dancing
- theatre workshops
- other physical activities.
Our aim is to brighten up children life, by helping them through art therapy and giving them an opportunity to meet new international environment and cultures, as well as changing their image about the world.

PLAN YOUR FUTURE

Plan your Future – a local project organized by Local Committee Lodz. The aim of the project is to help pupils design their career path, help to understand cultural diversity and spread tolerance also by discussing mains world’s problems.
Before workshops at junior high schools&high schools each trainee is obliged to attend a special training, during which he/she will gain knowledge on how to conduct workshops and work with youth as well as develop autopresentation and training skills and gain insight into the workshops content.
Participation in Incoming Preparation Seminar (07-08.11.2015) is required.
Learning points:
Training and Facilitating skills , autopresentation skills, interpersonal skills, working in multicultural environment skills through conducting language classes and preparing activities and events. Insight into polish culture ,emotional intelligence, leadership skills.
Expected results:
It is expected that after the project teenagers will be able to plan their future regarding studies and self-development, speak English better and be more open and tolerant for other cultures.

KIDS SPEAK

The aim of this project is arouse in young Polish kids of all the social backgrounds curiosity and dedication to other cultures. This project is solution for Polish social problem that small kids do not have opportunities to interact with other cultures of the world and there is the lack of the attitudes of being open, tolerant and curious.
Intern will conduct classes in primary school with students in age of 6-13
- Intern increase openness to internationality among students.
- Intern reduces the awareness of students about stereotypes.
- Intern motivates participants to find information about the most attactive foreign countries (google graphics, wikipedia, books, etc. ) and create ppt presentation about varied countries.
- Intern organises a debate about Poland and EP's countries.
- Intern present movies about her/his local habits and cultures. Intern shows videos of typical country customs and traditions, explaining their meaning, making the kids describe it with their own words.
-Intern organises closing event for parents and project's participants about culture and local tradition.
Workshops are held from Monday to Friday, in Kraków in public or private Primary School.
Intern plans the content of the classes on their own before arrival. The topics should be interesting and interactive.
