Beside teaching, your job will also be taking care of the children. You have to help them if they have any problems (during eating, clothing, and so on). You have to be patient, responsible, reliable, creative, cheerful.

Taking care of the mentally challenged children and older people, adults in their daily routine. Consuming their meals is a typical example.The intern will contribute to the gradual development of these people. Organizing day-time avtivities (handcraft), social-cultural programmes, outdoor activities.Participate in organizing summer camp for the kids.Organize cultural day/week about one's home culture (cooking, specialties, etc.)
Learning points:
You will get to know young people, who are multiple handicapped, be a part of their world and everyday life.
Development spaces:
We provide a "trainee coach", who will be in touch with the applicants. The aim of this connection is to give an online platform, where the applicants can develop their skills, get some details about the project and prepare for their internship. The trainee coach will be responsible for the development of the applicants during their internship in Hungary.
Expected results:
The trainee, with his/her presence should make a positive impact on the children. Get routine in childcare and social work through teaching and dealing with them.

AGA CHILDREN'S HOME

The applicant has to deal with children aged 8-18. The main duties will be English teaching, organizing cultural and free time activites for the youngsters living there.
These events can focus on the applicant's cultural background, engaging the people and helping them to understand and accept other cultures.
During daytime the children are in school, so the work time will be the afternoon and evening hours, five times a week.
The activities are based on the applicant's enthusiasm and motivation, you can use your creativity and form the children's mindset. The success of the internship mostly depends on you and your efforts.
