The aim of the project is to give the opportunity to Czech teenagers and children to discover different cultures and encourage them to interact in English. Through this, we want to motivate students to think about their future possibilities, using the knowledge and experience of people from different backgrounds.

You will be preparing interactive presentations and activities, personalized to each type of school and age group. Topics are generally Education, Sport, Culture, Political, Social and Economic situation, History, Geography and Tourism. You have the liberty to use different methods, to engage the students and help them get the most out of your classes (presentations, discussions, quizzes, dancing, games and other interactive activities).

You will be working in a group with 7 other interns, going to a different school each week. This way, you are able to interact with and impact a large number of young people. You will also be taking part in events in the schools (Opening and Closing Ceremonies, Global Village).

 

You may also participate in activities outside of the school –sports, trips etc. This will contribute to the diversity of your experience, and offer you different perspectives on the country and culture.
